Point Edward Group Fitness

A great way to achieve your fitness goals is at a Point Edward Group Fitness. While a Group Fitness is tough, you’ll also see greater success that’s faster than you’d achieve on your own. Everyone there goes for the same reason, to get fitter, so you’ll be working out with like-minded people, even though they may be at varying levels of fitness. Personal trainers run Group Fitnesss, so they design programs for each person to accommodate the different physical abilities. No one gets a program that’s too hard or too easy.

Trainers assess your level of fitness first.

Not only does the trainer assess your overall fitness level, he or she identifies weaker muscle groups and your abilities for various kinds of fitness, whether it’s strength, endurance, balance or flexibility. The trainer also learns about your goals and whether you have any special needs that might require he or she to adjust an exercise to accommodate.

There’s a reason the trainer does an assessment for everyone in the group.

While you all may be doing push-ups, the person less fit may only do one or two modified bent knee push-ups while the very fit may do twenty one handed push-ups. The level of intensity, number of reps and form will differ based on your abilities. Each person works toward individual goals that will be hard, but still within that person’s reach. It may seem like everyone is doing push-ups, but a close look will tell a different story.

You won’t be using fancy machines at a Group Fitness.

While the shiny machines in a gym might look great and even be comfortable, Group Fitnesss use little or no equipment. That’s good for you! You’ll be learning body weight, calisthenics or exercises that use simple tools like jump ropes. These you can do anywhere, even at home after the Group Fitness ends. You’ll be getting a wealth of information that you can use the rest of your life.

As your fitness level improves, the trainer modifies your program to reflect that improvement, so you’ll always be working toward maximum ability.

You’ll get the services of a personal trainer, but at a fraction of the cost. That’s because everyone shares the cost of the trainer’s time so it’s less per capita.

You’ll work on all types of fitness, from balance and strength to flexibility and endurance, which improves your functional fitness.

There’s a great deal of encouragement from fellow participants, since everyone knows how hard it is to achieve personal goals.
